-
What is required to get a divorce in Arizona?
Unless you entered into what is called a "covenant marriage," an Arizona marriage can be dissolved for any reason—so long as one spouse believes it is irretrievably broken. Arizona is a no-fault state, which means that a spouse does not need to provide a reason for seeking a divorce except that he or she believes the marriage cannot be mended.

-
How do I start the divorce process?
A petition for divorce must be filed in a Superior Court—with or without a settlement agreement. The Mesa divorce attorney from Bastian Law Offices, PLC can help with both.
-
How much does it cost to hire a divorce lawyer?
Each case's cost can vary dramatically. Uncontested divorce can generally be handled for $2,000 or less. Contested cases (especially if a privately-owned business is involved) require more time and expense. We can give a specific cost estimate after your consultation.
-
Who will pay for my divorce attorney?
Attorney fees must generally be paid out of joint, marital assets. If one spouse does not have access to these assets or is unable to pay for attorney fees, the Court may require the other spouse to pay all attorney fees. We can discuss this during your consultation.
